The Titans opened the season at Wright State University vs. Clark State. The Titans have not beaten Clark State since baseball was started back in 2022, but came home with a win in game 3. They lost game 1 – 16-6 and game 2 – 11-4, but there were bright spots in both games. It was the opening series for TSCC and the Eagles had played earlier in the week.

Sophomore, Jorge Santana hit .500 for the series and had an OBP of 643 pounding out 5 hits and scoring 6 runs. JS also had 2 outstanding plays in the field snagging a diving catch and getting a put out at third.

Freshman, Mason Johnson (Calvert) hit .333 for the series, driving in 8 RBI’s pounding out 4 hits with 2 doubles and a 3 bagger. Mason also starting game 3 on the mound pithing 3 innings and giving up 2 earned runs.

Sophomore, Reilly Tyna (Cuyahoga Heights) collected a double and triple for the series while compiling 4 RBI’s for the series.

Freshman, Dylan Wright (Fremont Ross) had a OBP of .500 for the series hitting .286 and scoring 3 runs.

Sophomore, Owen Wright (Fremont Ross) and Game 1 starter pitched 3.2 innings giving up only 1 earned run.

Freshman, Ben Weber (Wadsworth) and Game 2 starter pitched 3 innings giving up only 1 earned run.

Freshman, Nick Lukac (Norwalk) picked up the first win of the season going 3.1 innings and giving up 2 Earned runs.
