In 2024, the Titans’ Baseball team has traveled to the Nation’s Capital, played on the Chesapeake Bay, played at Wright State University, at League Park (home of the Indians in the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s) and have now played at the area’s best baseball field just south of Castalia, Ohio. Bob Gray is a unique person as he continues his love of baseball by building a field, literally, in his back yard. The pictures below show Lorain County Community College vs. the Titans. One of the umpires said in pregame, “Everyone in Ohio should take the time and play a game here.” He is correct. After the games, some players went into Mr. Gray’s Red barn and bought “Bats made by Bob.” It is worth your time, to either visit the store, or make sure your young boys take a visit to the best little secret here in Erie County. Many thanks to the Gray family for allowing us to enjoy a little “Love of the Game” given to us by such wonderful people. Hopefully, we will return to enjoy the atmosphere. It really doesn’t get any better than this.
